I stumbled onto this site called Post Secret. It is a really interesting site, people send in their secrets on a post card and they get published onto the internet daily. Some are talented, some are depressing and some are just plain hilarious. If you have a moment you should click on over to see them.

okay some of the secrets were funny, but most just made me feel sorry for the person who wrote it. i can't imagine living a life that is so repressed. some of these people need major help..... i think those kind of sites cater to wallowing in misery and other people reveling in it. didn't like it! also, i have noticed something else...since i started blogging and looking at blogs, i have noticed the most popular sites/blogs are the ones that are negative and dark. since when did it become so unpopular to actually like your life and be happy? i will step down now from my soapbox....

I think it is good that people have an outlet and are able to express their creativity. The other thing that I feel is extremely important, is that people can see that they are not alone out there, that sometimes there are people far more worse off than themselves and that maybe there issues are quite frankly, petty. It can basically give someone perspective. However, I do agree that the majority of sites do seem darker. It would be nice to see more positive, the glass is half full sites. That are overall, just more fun.
