Say Hello To My Little Friends
This post is for you Anika since you have such a fascination with bugs on your blog ;) These are pictures that were taken in my backyard. Cute aren't they?
* Click pictures for an insane close up... be one with the bug!

THese pics are great! I love that you were able to get so close!
I do like these pictures too! I like the first one the most. If I had to name him, it would be Evinrude. *sigh* I heart Evinrude.
Hi No-L!
I you have a sexy eyebrow.
Aaaaaaaaaand I'm outta here.
I have to say that is a pretty cooooool picture of a dragonfly.
Nice pics. Thanks for stopping by today - good to meet another Floridian. Well, sort of, anyway.
The last one is my favorite. The shoots of hair sticking out kind of look like eyes.
Nikol, thanks for the compliment. There is a setting on my camera called macro, that let's you take up-close and personal shots.
Anika, Evinrude (motor for a boat?)
Jerk, are you referring to my profile pic?
Lori, I think the Hump video idea would be great, you should submit it to them.
Fred, thanks for stopping by, I like your site and can't wait to read what happens to the tattoo girl.
Locutus, wow, you have been to a lot of states. I wish I were in your shoes instead of mine (living in Florida and all.) I moved to Natick, which seemed the most convenient to my job, still close to B-town and has all the things I need to survive. I love to eat, so I would love to hear which restaurants are great. I will not be able to give you any info on Ft. Lauderdale, if you are ever in Brevard County, Orlando or Tampa I can give you lot's of great places to eat and things to do. So you are a Trekkie, I gather. Isn't that Jean-Luc's name as a Borg?
Jen, that one is my favorite to, I agree about the hair looking like eyes, I think it looks cute!
Wow!! Those are *amazing* photos. I love the last photo withe the "prickly" hair look. ;)
Thanks for visiting my site today and for the nice comment! I'll be back to visit. I love the book meme you posted below, by the way.
When I was a freshman in high school ('95) we had to do a huge bug project at the end of the spring semester. We had to catch like 40 bugs, kill them with fumes from dry-erase markers, and then pin the little shit(s) into styrofoam board. It was a lot of fun, until one day I was walking to turn my GD collection in, and somehow the wind took my project, and all the dried dead bugs exploded on impact. I actually started to cry...

Yes, Evinrude is a boat motor. But such a cute bug name, no?
Blake, I am glad I never had to do anything like that, GROSS! Did you cry for all the bugs that were wasted or the all of your work down the tubes?
Undr, stay away with your Raid can, didn't you read they were my friends? ;) Seriously, thanks for the compliment on my sight.
Locutus, glad that you don't do the dressing up thing, SCARY! I used to love Star Trek the 1st & 2nd ones; I have not liked any of them since. Maybe a little bit with Captain Janeway, I thought it was cool; you know girl power and all.
Anika, Evinrude is an interesting name, I guess it could be cute. Do you have a name for my favorite one?
I could have SWORN I left a new comment here earlier.
Did I get deleted?
I didn't even say anything bad. Did I?
What a jerk I am if I did. Sorry.
Anyhoo, yeah I meant the only eyebrow I can see in your profile pic is sexaaay.
It don't mean I want to meet your parents. Just a compliment. (and a weird one at that)
Don't worry, I won't be back. :)
Jerk, I definitely did not delete your comment, you have not offended me in anyway. Thank you for the compliment, I think you’re hilarious, so I hope that you will come back.
I cried for all the time and energy that I lost when the wind destroyed my project.
Blake
